Revealing Beautiful Wood Grain: Using Scrap Wood in Printmaking

Wood grain has such a beautiful texture, you can create an interesting effect to your relief printmaking, even if you don’t carve it. This is a great beginning printmaking class with all the instructions you need for your first woodblock print

Exploring Drypoint on Plexiglass

In Person Class

Learn drypoint and intaglio techniques to create unique print editions, utilizing plexi-glass as a cheaper alternative to using traditional metal plates. Basic drawing skills are a plus but not a requirement.

The Decorative Page: Middle Eastern Miniature Painting

Introduction to a style of painting that is used to create beautiful designs and miniature illuminations as is seen in Persian and Middle Eastern books and manuscripts. These painting techniques are based on carpet and tile designs techniques transformed into a personalizable art form.
