Do you have a project in mind or in progress?
Our teachers, tools, and equipment are available to help your ideas come to fruition. Join our shared space with other creators, swap stories and ideas, and see your hard work pay off in your finished product.
Our studio is open to everyone who is willing to share our space with others and treat our equipment with care.

Open Studio Hours Schedule
Wednesday - Saturday: 10am - 4pm
Wednesday Evenings: 6pm - 9pm
Class we offer are often designed to certify you for use of the studio in that class’s particular discipline. If you have taken one of our classes, you’re eligible to continue practice those techniques during open studio hours.
We also encourage artists who are bringing prior experience with them to continue their work with us.

Studio Session Pass Pricing
We offer reservations in 3-hour sessions.
Multi-session passes are available at a discounted rate.
Walk-ins are $10 per hour and subject to availability.
Additional bulk rates may be available via email request.
Each session includes the use of a small amount of ink and/or glue.
Additional materials, such as paper and uncarved linoleum, are available for purchase through our shop. Artists are welcome to bring their own supplies.
Operation of certain letterpresses require an additional $10/hr fee.

Reservations & Equipment
FBAC's studio has a variety of equipment for artists in the disciplines of bookbinding, letterpress, printing and more!
Tour the studio in person or check out our Studio Equipment Page to learn about some of the great presses and equipment FBAC's Studio has to share. Studio artists get access to basic hand tools and general workspaces during their open studio sessions.
Studio session passes permit artists to reserve their preferred time slot on our reservation calendar. Specific equipment can also be reserved using the above calendar.
All reservations are available on a first-come, first-served basis during open studio hours and are subject to that class cancelation policy.

First Time Studio Artists
First-time studio artists will need to fill out the application below.
How to Begin
A one-time Orientation class may be necessary for artists who have not been trained in the safe use of our space; this can be scheduled as a part of your first session.
The application above includes a liability waiver and an agreement to follow FBAC open studio policies.
