Hiromi Paper has a great blog piece that explains (in easy language and lots of pics, for non-papermakers like me) about Kozo (mulberry plants) and the papermaking process in Japan during these times. Its a really interesting article and really worth taking a look (especially at the pics- okay, its a busy day today so I was not feeling like lots of reading!)
