The Globe Manufacturing Company was founded by John M. Jones in 1855 out of Palmyra, New York. Manufacturing both job presses and paper cutters, the company went through several owners over the next few decades. In the early 1900s, its name would be changed to the Peerless Printing Press Company. Our manual cutter, which weighs about 750 pounds, can slice through reams of paper and is largely used to make the final cuts on text blocks and bound books.
