FBAC Goes to Frederick Pride

The Frederick Book Arts Center is proud to support the Frederick Center and Pride again this year! On Saturday, June 28, you can find our table under the Carroll Creek Covered Bridge near the main stage.
For the past three years we have laid out our "Protect Trans Kids" flags for members of the community to sign with messages of love and support. We invite you again this year to sign our flags and add to the thousands of positive messages already shared with the LGBTQ+ community.
New this year! In addition to our flags being available to sign at Pride; previous year flags will be on display at Frederick's very first Pride Parade. FBAC will be marching with all 6 signed flags on June 27th at 7pm; starting at East Patrick St and ending at Baker Park Bandshell!
In 2022 we filled 1 flag with signatures, in 2023 we filled 2, in 2024 we filled 3. Can we make it to 4 full flags this year?! Help us achieve our goal and spread as many messages of love and support as possible!
Our building will be closed during the event so we can be at the event and properly show our support and celebrate. Until July 5th, FBAC will also be discounting 10% from our store for anyone who shows us a pride wrist band.

We have a full food truck court, beverage garden, musical guests, drag performances, DJ sets, guest speakers, a children and youth area, pride merchandise shop, hundreds of nonprofit and business vendors, the Lambda Car Show, The Frederick Center information booth, cool down areas, and more at this year’s Frederick Pride festival!
