What is an artist book and how does it differ from a traditional book? Learn about various styles of artist books and new ways to think outside the bounds of traditional books. Not only will we explore non-traditional bookbinding ideas, we will make our own artist book style star book. For up to 12 participants.

Try out two different forms of printing including setting type on one of our Vandercook letterpresses and making your own block print during this hands-on experience tour. This field trip/tour scales well for a variety of ages and is a great introduction to letterpress as well as block printing. Up to 12 participants.

Learn about letterpresses during this interactive tour of the art center. This is a great introduction to printing that can be tailored to a variety of age groups from adults to middle schoolers, and even younger with discussion and permission of the instructors. For up to 6 participants.
