Covid-19 Policy
In order to keep our more vulnerable populations safe, FBAC is looking at a national news source that aggregates reports from the state, as well as health district or county governments that often report ahead of the state. This source daily assesses risk based on on-going bi-weekly averages of e was community spread, as well as percentages of positive tests. They categorize risk as:
LOW
MODERATE
HIGH
VERY HIGH
EXTREMELY HIGH
While all of our adult staff are vaccinated, we are aware of breakthrough infections and transmission Therefore we have created a policy that corresponds with the above risk assessment data to limit the chance of exposure to our more vulnerable populations and to help mitigate burden on our hospitals.
-
LOW- All activities are open as normal
-
MODERATE- All activities are open as normal, masks are encouraged during events
-
HIGH - Masks are required in the building, no limit on number of people in building
-
VERY HIGH and EXTREMELY HIGH RISK Masks are required in the building, No more than 30 people in the building at a time. Specific teachers may require proof of vaccination or limit class sizes.
-
AT ANY POINT A TEACHER CAN PUT MORE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS ON THEIR CLASSES
** This policy was last updated on 2/3/22 as children under 12 have access vaccines **
