Another gem from The Printmaking Sisters: Robin made a step-by-step tutorial for this hand-painting method of combining printmaking, chine colle and multi-colors.
Having a press is not a MUST for all printmakers (starters and experienced artists). Some artists NEVER use a press and decide to use a baren for all their printmaking needs. And what is a baren? It is an object used to apply pressure against paper and ink/paint etc, to bring out the print!
